Originally from New Orleans, Sarah is currently residing and working in Portland, Oregon. Specializing in fashion and street portraiture, she loves to take on any creative challenge that can develop a narrative. Sarah fell in love with the labor and process of creating a photograph through film photography almost 14 years ago.

She shoots both digital and film, using her formal background in visual arts to create imagery that emulates and
brings forth the feeling of dreams and nostalgia through her models and location. In her personal work since 2010, Sarah creates a narrative with hair that serves in place of facial expressions to create a silhouette and shape cohesive with a range of emotional impact. She often emulates this in her professional work and watercolor paintings as well.
